I think you did pretty good. What kit is that? I really like your base. Can you speak on that a little?
A very strong comeback! Looking good. Not an easy bird to begin on.

This is the Revell 1:48 kit. For the base I used coffe grounds and some lava rocks. I tried making my own palm tree and it turned out ok. All tips I got from you guys! If I could get a better close-up, you might change your minds [;)]

I thought that looked familiar. I used to use coffe grounds with the RR. You got pretty close with the last pic. Whatever you perceive as a short coming will improve as you start doing more kits. We might be able to remember the techniques, but the skills have expiration dates.[:)]
