thank you sir!
I have quite a few pictures from the B-25C/D maintenance manual on my web site, with a few partial views of the cockpit seats. Should get your AMS out of control.
Here’s what I have, from the Collings B-25.

I dont have anything to realy add about the seats other then, yeah, they do kinda suck. Especially compared to the rest of the kit. I just picked up his kit on saturday, and opened her up just now to look at the seats for my self. I think I may have to get another one of these, I’m really impressed with it. The kit repesents the B-25B but has parts to make other variants, I find that pretty cool! I havent built any AM kits in a while and gotta say I’m glad they improved the instruction sheet/book finnally, I remember them being very vague. One of coolest things in this kit to me…the fact that you can see and read “Good year” on thsidewalls of the main tires. The letters are actually raised!
Right now I’m building 2 B-17’s, got 2 german captured P-51D’s lined up after that. May have to bump the trio of T-6’s in favor of building 2 B-25’s.
Thread highjack over. We now return you to the thread already in progress.
You got three 1/48 Monogram Texans? We need to talk… See the “Easy on the Brakes Next Time, Kid” WIP thread (page 2) in the Diorama hooch…
thanks guys. i was a little less impressed by this 25. lots of detail, which is great, but seems a little clunky in spots, and a lot that will never be seen( but i feel compelled to detail it) i built the seats the other night. they turned out awesome. i’ll put up a pic, my cam is not great so it will prob. be fuzzy. i had 3 of those texans as well. built one for a pilot friend of a friend, he took me for a ride…fair trade??? he now does the local airshow with about 10 other texans in formation…it’s awesome!!!

the highlight of this ride…we dove at the runway…250 knots, 15 ft agl. blew smoke…90 degree climb at end of runway…again, again, again!!!
2 of the re-released monogram/revell texans, 1 italeri texan. I wanna build all in NMF, WWII trainer’s. No markings other than the star and bar, maybe serials, we’ll see when I get closer to that project. Still got my 2 B-17’s on the bench and a pair (maybe trio) of mustangs after that.
Fermis…MAN! you work quick! She look’s real good, I’ll be watching this build.
Ahh… Didn’t know the the T-6 had been re-released… Need to pick up a couple more…I’ve GOT to do that Ralston Trainer modification…
it is not that i work quick. as i have said before unemployment has it’s benefits!!! i think the drawbacks are far worse though.
as this build progresses, i’ll post in …“acc mins b-25 wip”
