B-25, Nose Conversion

I want to convert Revell’s B-25J into a Gun Nose! Any conversion kits available?

No conversions for it I know of. Why not just buy the gun nose version Monogram released?

Some of the B-25s had field improvised gun noses. The glass was replaced with sheet metal and the guns were mounted on a series of braces All you would have to do it paint over the glass, drill a few holes and stick the guns thru the holes. Tada! Gun nosed B-25.

You could also reshape the glass nosed version and rescribe to get something like this:

If you want to do the H with the 75mm cannon then you’re better off finding the kit.

Revell just re-issued that kit two months ago. It should nto be too hard to find.

As always, thanks for the advice from all sources. Since this is part of my Tuskeege Airmen theme; I’ll go with the late ‘J’ with glazed nose and 8 50.cals and ‘cheek guns’ just to keep it looking good in NMF!

Ya, you can buy the Revell gun-nose J for what a conversion kit would cost, lol…

I’ll go with the big nosed version (Sunday Punch); I have way too much in my stash already!

This version of the B-25J has been on my mind for some time and when I got out the Jane’s Book; there it was. Have two sets of 8 barrel 50’s; on for this and one an A26 from NK, Thailand.

Thanks for the help in decision making.
