Just got the Revell Germany 1/48 B-24D kit for my birthday! I guess the wife has accepted my hobby now. I would like to build it as a participant in the raids on Ploesti; however, I don’t really like the decals supplied with the kit. It includes one but it has some funky decals from when it was on a bond tour.

Does anyone know where I can find some decals of a Ploesti raider with the sand over gray finish. I guess I have too many with OD over gray.

I did find some that were of the Pyn-up brand, but they wanted $24 for the sheet. That is almost as much as the wife gave for the kit.

Try www.metorprod.com and search for B-24. The item number is MGD48019-Mike Grant Decals. Not much cheaper though.-$14.99 + shipping/handling.

you are going to have to go with ebay on this one i got a sheet from squadron a few years back when that kit first came out but they seem to have gone the way of the tomcat (retired) by the way you will enjoy the kit its a fun build dave
