OK…Am I missing something? I’ve been searching for a 1/48th B-24 quality kit. I can’t find a thing anywhere. Can any of you experts help me??? B-24’less in TX
The only one that I am aware of in 1/48 scale is the Revellogram version. They have made a J version and a D version. From what I have found it looks like they are not in production right now.
The Monogram Pro Modeler B-24D is the best one in 1/48 if you can find it… Ebay’s got a couple, at least they did a couple days ago… It has the photo-etched brass and comes with flightcrew figures as well as the standard Monogram “Groundies”… Straight out of the box, it’s “Teggie Ann”, one of the Ploesti Raiders… The tail turret needs some modifications to back-date it to a D-model turret though. It has the J-model in it.
With it’s sisters, the newer B-24D release, and the B-24J, It’s the only game in town for 1/48th… Even with their age, they’re still good kits…
Both are very good kits…which is a really good thing considering they are the only ones in that scale.
