Picked up a couple of kits this past weekend thanks to Hobby Lobby’s 50% off internet coupons. One of the kits is Tesors 1/72 B-2 Bomber. Has anyone here built it? If so, can you give any reviews on the kit? Any help would be appreciated. I am planning on building this kit with my girlfriends son, and I just want to be ready for anything.
I built this kit a long time ago, before what I consider my “modern” era of model building began. I was right out of college and picked up a couple of kits to stave off boredom while looking for my first post-college job, one of which was this B-2 kit.
I remember not being overly impressed with either the kit or my ability to put it together in even a half-respectable fashion. Not too much detail, I do recall building it wheels up because I knew I didn’t have any shelf space at the time to display such a big bird wheels down. It was a simple build, the paint job was fairly easy although there was a bit of masking involved.
Take your time with it and I’m sure you’ll produce a fine looking B-2, even with the girlfriend’s son. [;)]
