I am building a B-1B Lancer (7th BW, 9th, BS, Dyess AFB, August 1998). It has a shade of grey as the overall color, but I"m not sure if I should apply a gloss or flat coat after painting and decaling. Please help!

Flat all the way my friend…!! I would not think if ya had a lil sheen to it, it would not hurt. Just check out the references and you’ll see what I mean. Then again each a/c was different from one another and they all weathered differently. So it would be all up to you. I know pressure[banghead]

What scale is it? I have the 1/48 Monogram with the after market stuff.[banghead]
Having seen a B-1 up close at an airshow, I would say to finish it with a semi-flat coat. They weren’t exactly a flat finish, but they weren’t shiny, either.
