B-1B Interior Color

Hello,

Does anyone know the correct color for the B-1B’s cockpit interior? It seems every source I find gives a different color. I’m confused! I’m attempting Revell’s 1/48 scale monster, and I just want to get it right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The standard color of US military aircraft is a dark ghost grey. It used to be green but it has been changed to grey for some reason. But theres your answer hope it helps.

Well there is a good image of the interior

Thanks for the help guys. Much appreciated and very useful.

FS 36231 Dark Gull Gray is the correct color.

Please note: The “A” version has two drink holders for 32 oz Big Gulps and the “B” Version has only one, single 44 oz
Thirst Buster drink holder! HAAA! [:o)]

In the case of the "big gulp"I sure hope they remembered to include a relief tube!

Never could manage the big gulp 44 oz…just the 32. Tried it once, but, didn’t make it. Guess I’ll have to improvise and do a little scratchbuilding for the 32 to fit!

The worst part is, I have the Eduard photoetch set for the kit, and it has beautiful interior detail parts. Shameful that it will all be closed up and one won’t be able to see it once the model is completed. But, I paid the $$ for it, so I figure I might as well use it. And, anyhow, it has the extra antennas and such too.

I also have both the Eduard exhausts and the Cutting Edge resin exhausts. I’d like to use one of the two, but can’t decide which would be better. Maybe I’ve bitten off more than I can chew?
