Hello Everyone,
Was wondering if anyone knows of a decal sheet featuring the B-17G “Nine O’ Nine” in 1/48 scale? I’ve looked all over the net and can’t find anything. I believe I remember a 1/72 scale Academy kit that had these decals as part of the box decals. Any help will be appreciated.
Super Scale International decal sheet 48-017 is the sheet you are looking for. It includes decals for Nine O Nine, Out House Mouse, Little Miss Mischief and Joker. The sheet has been out of production for many years. If you go to Swanneys History of the B-17 you will find a photo of the model I made of Nine O Nine beside the Collings Foundation Nine O Nine. I have a sheet of these decals. If you want I can make a copy on clear decal paper. The white triangles around the large A on the tail won’t show but if you careful you can cut the triangle.
