I just finished this 1/48 diorama as a commission using the Revellogram B-17G, Tamiya Ford staff car, Hasegawa , Accurate Miniatures cart and Verlinden and kit figures.

That is super nice especially the ground work. That grass looks real.
Very nice. You did a great job on it.
That’s an impressive build!
Thanks, guys.
I think that, “Whoa, Nellie” pretty much covers it. Very realistic and very well done.
Lyle.
The splatter line of oil from the prop is an excellent touch.
Wow, thats just spectacular! I assume the guy you built it for isn’t going to be moving her around much since the completed dio would have to be huge. I built one years back for a 1/72nd B-24 and it was too friggin’ big at that.
Nice detailing. Can I ask what you charged for it and whether that included the kits and figures? I’m about to start a commission with a B-17 and glass case, no figures. Thx
Thanks, Bocks and G. The base is a 22 X 28 inch frame from either Michael’s pr AC Moore and the base is plywood from Home Depot. The guy has an 8th AF display going on in his home to add to his PT boat displays. Overall, it’s pretty light and the vehicles and plane are all attached to the base with very thin stainless steel craft wire, courtesy of Michael’s.
