I’m thinking of building a B/17 if anybody has any detialing tips I’ll be glad to hear them [8D]
Your question is a little general. It’s like asking thousands of people, “how do you like your steak?”. The level of detail depends on your preference or skill level. You can build a presentable model out of the box, or you can purchase or scratch built infinite detail if you desire. Detailing is learned and earned by experience. The variables are experience, painting skill, assembly skill, the level of research on the subject, etc. If you are looking for “tips”, you should go to swannysmodels.com and start reading.
I’m sure he has several step by step builds there to show you what to do.
I think that you mean B-17… Flying Fortress… if yes, just tell us which B-17 kit you’ll use… if you want to know alittle about detailing a B-17, visit http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Fea1/801-900/Fea875_B-17_Quirk/fea875a.htm …hope this helps…
