aztek270

i just bought a aztec 270 and i was wondering if anybody had already put it through its paces
can u tell me somethings about its camo painting abilities?
thanks

it’s a single action, so it startso ff iwht a splater, duel action doesn’t. It’s an aztek so count on buying tons of nozzles.

Read through the archives and most of all learn how to clean the thing properly and it’s nozzles.

BTW, if you bought it because of the advertised features(easy to clean, etc) you can start swearing already. [;)]

actually, mine was a double action(push trigger for airflow and pull back for paint spray) and yes, it is a little “tough” to clean
they say you can take apart the nozzles, but how?

When you look at the nozzle, you will see a white part sticking out of the bottom, pull that out and you ahve the thing in 2 pieces. It snaps back no problem. Now, the white part has a gray piece sticking out, thats the bottom of the needle sitting inside a spring. pull that out and the spring should still be wrapped around it. You don’t really need to take the spring out.

After you are done airbrushing, just dump whole nozzle in a container of windex. After a few hours or overnight, take it apart to wipe apart any paint. It should just kinda drain onto a paper towel. Put it back together. Takes longer to write than to do.

And notice that if you remove the spring, it is better set back on the needle in one direction than in the reverse one; you’ll see that in the wrong direction, the needle falls from the nozzle and that in the right direction, guess what ? yes sir, it doesn’t fall.

cool! it works now i dont have any ugly clumps and it was actually a 370 airbrush
