Hello gentlemen! Yesterday I went to an RC airplane swap-meet. While it’s an RC swap-meet, I ALWAYS have my eyes out for any plastic[;)] I came acrossed and older gentlemen selling a bunch of kits. I picked out everything I had interest in building for a STEAL! A whopping $30 for everything you see in these pictures (including the books)! He said $40 so Icame back with $30 and he said sure. I was in shock. I just wanted to share my excitment. P.S. This forum really needs auto correct again…

Thanks guy! [:D] It looks like the best deal came from the Bird Dog. I bought 9 item (including the books) for $30. That mean each item cost $3.33. When I bought my other Bird Dogs on eBay when I was a kid (10 years ago) I belive they were about $20. So I went on eBay to see what some have sold for and I found these. I know the prices when up but GEEZ! Its a real shame I want to build them lol

Looking at the box art, yours and eBay’s are 2 different kit companies. Yours is Roden, the ones listed on eBay were Model USA brand.

Roden is the Pilatus Porter but ModelUSA is the BirdDog

Doh… no wonder I couldn’t find the Bird dog in Roden brand. LOL!!! I was looking at the wrong kit.

Haha, no problem! You did have me confused for a second[:P] It is funny you thought the Bird Dog was Roden, because Roden will be releasing a 1/32 Bird Dog in the summer (I belive) of this year. So I am extremely excited

Oh yes. I plan on buling it for sure. This one I will probably leave sealed for a while. But Two of my other ones are open. I will build those first

Blacksheep: You said you were looking for one. If you truly wanted one and cant find one, though I can’t part with mine, my father has two. One open and one sealed maybe? If you were interested I could ask him if he wanted to sell one.
