im thinking about buying some AVF club tracks for my tiger I, now there are 2 sorts im looking at. The 1 piece rubberish tracks that are already black. and the indvidual track links. I would like to know what one would you recommend? iv stuffed my dragon DS tracks buy painting them with humbrol enamel, and they were to long so i cut them down one at a time and now i gess its too tight becuse at the back of the tiger I the tracks arnt straight the curve inwards towards the tank if that makes sence. so what one would you recommend? and be easier to apply?

I have the AFV tracks for my AFV T-34 85 with full interior. They go together rather well. You must take your time of course, but no problems so far. Plus factor is that I will be able to get the sag that I want.
The “rubber band” tracks are excellent for what they are, but they still lack. The optional plastic tracks are far better-detailed, but you’ll spend a lot of time assembling them. But they’re easy to paint, and more accurate. Depends on what you want. If you’re willing to spend the time and money on the plastic tracks, go for it. If not, stick with the black 1-piece bands.
Also, the 1-piece set is much easier to apply, it’s just 1 glue joint. You will probably have to glue them to the road wheels though to get sag. They’re also harder to paint, I’d recommend putting them in place, spraying a flat clear coat on them, and then weathering them from there.
I have the Tiger late tracks (ref AF35093) and they look a bit of work but not that bad, plus they are workable. I’m working on the Bronco Challenger 2 ones now and they are 3 pieces for one link, took me about 2 hours for one side and look much better than the Tamiya band ones
