I’m in the process of building Hasegawa’s 1/72 kit of this bird and have a few questions. Are there any pitfalls I need to look out for with this kit? What is a typical ordnance load ? I’m not really thrilled with Hasegawa’s decals so I’m looking for TwoBobs decal sheet 72-009 “Hard Corps Harriers” but they’re out of stock. Does anyone know where I can get one or has a sheet or part sheet that they wouldn’t mind letting go of for a price?

According to th 2bobs 48th sheet, typical load was optimized for ship landings in the gulf war 2. No guns or aim-9’s. Fuel tanks on mid stations (2 and 6) with a lightning II pod and gbu-16 or 12 on the inner pylons (3 and 5 respectively) or tanks on 3 and 5 with gbu12’s on 2 and 6.
CAn’t tell you about the 1/72nd kit, but could tell you about the 1/48th kit. One of the things recommended is to attach the LERX and wing bottoms to true up the underside, then attach the upper portion of the wings (wish I had figured that out when Iwas building mine.) which will allow you to true up with the fuselage - I had a little bit of a hump.
Thanks for the weapons info wibhi2.[tup][tup]I was wondreing if I should use the guns or not. As for the wings I’ll do the same on my kit , just for good measure!
