AV-8B+ 1/72 Aftermarket parts? Help!

Hi there!

Well, after discussing F-14s and enjoying that immensely, I decided to build a 1/72 jet from the current conflict. I came across the Hasegawa 1/72 AV-8B and figured I’d give it a shot.
After looking over the kit, there are definite areas that are in desperate need of improvement. WHERE’S THE DAMN COCKPIT DETAIL!!! Also, according to the latest issue of Combat Aircraft magazine, only two of the six units deployed were operating non B+ Harriers.

So, my question is this… are there any 1/72 scale cockpit sets for the Hasegawa AV-8B kit, and are there any resin noses to convert it to B+ standard? There is something nice about having that radar in the nose!

Model Alliance came out with aftermarket parts to convert the Airfix or Italeri 72nd AV-8B to B+ standard. The set apparently includes the radar nose. Am not sure though if your Hase kit will accept the nose job. You can check out their on-line catalogue through the following address:
