Aufklarungpanzer DML (pic heavy)

Anybody remember this kit?

Yes, I do. I recall you were less then pleased with it. Did you do some tweaking? It looks fantastic, though I do notice the lack of track-sag in the rear. No biggie though.

Looks amazing.[:D[ The weathering looks great.

Yes I do.

I love the open compartment and the placement of the tools.Simple, but tells a story.

Hey Steve,

Great to see you back. She came up very nicely. I was about to ask where the mag was, but then I saw it on the turret bin. Looks good with everything opened up.

Hey Guys,

I’ve got the worst case of modelers block, I mean I haven’t built anything for over a year. I just can’t get it in gear. I’ve gotten back into competitive shooting and it sort of took over. I like to post some of my old builds every now and then to try to lite the fire…but no soap so far.

Anyway, Eric has a good memory. This little build gave me fits. The usual cryptic DML instructions were REALLY BAD. Usually with my experience this isn’t an issue, but when I tried to install those sponsons with the angle fenders…UGH.

I used parts from the Eduard kit for the engine compt, track (Link/Length) etc.

I’m gonna post my old Panther D again and see if I can get an ego boost to shake my stagnation.

You guys all hang in there…I’ll be back!

regards,

Steve

My wife would never concur with you. [:$]

I responded in your Panther thread too, but it took me an IMPS contest and seeing a couple of members work up close and personal to spark my fire. So I’ve finished a couple of dormant projects and started another. I’m also in the middle of helping my son finish 3 of his own. Hang in there buddy, it can and will come back. I know, I’ve been there!
