Att'n Badger 100LG users

I have a quick question for those of you who use the 100LG. Has anybody ever had any trouble with the little screw in front of the trigger? Basically, does it do what it’s supposed to, keep the needle in one place? Any slippage or anything like that? Thanks.

All it really does is that it allows you to “pre-set” a needle position so that you can use the airbrush as you would a single-action unit. Simply pre-set the screw to a particular position and press the trigger.

Note that it does not prevent you from drawing back on the trigger and increasing the paint flow if you so desire.

Edit: Oops - mis-read your post… You already know what it does.

Actually it’s there to limit the fore and aft needle travel. Some people like a lot of travel, some people like only a little. I change it depending on what I’m doing. However, if you like using it as a pre-set, so be it; just use it for whatever purpose you prefer.

Thanks gents. I would want to use it as a pre-set. The screw and mount looked a little fragile, and I was wondering how durable it was.

The Badger 200 has the preset on the handle and it is pretty tough.
