for PE I would use super glue. And accelerator if you have that stuff.

Flat PE on a flat surface…Future works well. For objects that have torsion or minimal mating surface such as handles I use thin CA. Good tweezers are a must!

I also use my own product for such applications. [whstl]

I prefer to use a gel-type super glue for attaching photo-etch parts.

thanx everybody, your help is greatly appreciated progress pics to follow soon!

Dave,

A file to remove those pesky nubs after you have removed the PE from the tree.

MOST importantly…Patience…to avoid[bnghead][cnsod][bnghead]

Good luck

I’ve been using Micro Mark Kristal Klear for flat to flat joins. If there is a small gluing service (handles attached to intrument panels) I drill a hole in the plastic part and insert the PE. If I have to attach something to a flat PE piece I drill though the flat PE placing it on a glass surface so it doesn’t bend. More work but less chance of knocking parts off.
