I was working on the house (pretty much a given around here) when my two boys came and grabbed me to look at their ‘models’. They wanted me to take pictures and send it to ‘my friends’.
Well, my friends, here they are;
The top is from Logan, age 4
The bottom from Cole, age 2. (there’s a Sherman somewhere near or under the Kubel)
Ausf!
excellent!
i hope that all those who clamor for ‘mor mud’ will be satisfied.
i can almost spot the Sherman, by the color, maybe.
i think even Robert might be hard pressed to locate it.
wonderful camo & ground work on the dio.
obviously 2 promising young diorama builders.
(is that a tractor behind the Tiger? i think i see CAT yellow)
lol, that’s great [:)]
I can’t even see the models, yep, I’m satisfied [:D]
WOW that looks great, the mud is so realistic.
I think your sons have a great future in model building, or maybe in the army as camo specialists. [;)][(-D][(-D]
Exellent Camo, excellent deffilade, looks like they’re ready to go!
Ron
I think the guys who hit the Suez Canal would be as impressed me.
The yellow in the backround, sorry to say is a school bus about to catch a HE 8.8 I’m afraid (I can sense my wife’s eyes rolling)
Camo is their thing, usually something we need will be ‘camoflaged’, setting off a long, house wide search. Note: this is from nature, not from my Tiger books.
It’s all I can do to keep him from applying the ‘rolled armor effect’ to our car.[;)]
very nice camo[:D][:D] looks like they got bombed by a sand box bomb.
Natural born dioramists.
awesome.
joe
theres a kubel? and a sherman ?[(-D][(-D]
What kits are they? Snap tite?
I agree! Way too much mud this time. LOL.
Those models need a WASH. And I mean a WASH! He-he-he.
hmmmmm let me see, I think there needs to be more people in there.
maybe your sons are still short enough to be almost 1:25 scale-so you can give them tanks they can ride in! maybe 1:16?
Great job on the mud[bow] How di they get such a realistic effect[%-)][%-)][%-)]
Hysterical !![:D][:D][:D]
Tell your sons - your friends said " keep up the good work and make sure they shake their models off after they get into the house."
Great post - kids notice everything !
Nice to see modelers startin’ off early! Tell them nice job!
Brings new meaning to the phrase ‘dug in’, but I’m sure the Germans only used the turrets in the fixed fortifications , not the whole tank!
Ausf, Just wait til they are old enough to raid your kit stockpile.
Hey Kids,
Too coooool…!!![:D]. What can I say, you have a great teacher and plus you are our future interms of modelling. A great start I say…
Way to go guys!!
Flaps up, Mike

Very funny! Hey ausf: did they paint the tiger camo by themselves: thats pretty good!
I can honestly say that there are quite a few GI Joes, and Transformers buried in my old yard as well!!! Boys will be boys!!! LOL
