At long last- Another Spruce Goose Update!!!

Well, this project has lain stagnant for a long time while I amused myself with other projects. Well, it’s time I got back to doing something on it. So here they are, the two newest pics of this big ol’ bird. (WARNING to our dial-up friends- pics are large)

Now before I can go start celebrating, I must slow down and realize how bad of a seam I now have to deal with. Go ahead. Look close. Just remember that it’s worse on the bottom. [xx(]

Thanks for looking! (Now it’s back to more putty and sandpaper… oy…)

I highly anticipate each update on this massive machine - I can scarcely wait it’s completion! I am still in awe of your scratch built interior and your engineering (wing spar, e.g.) as well. [bow] Thanks a million for sharing with us all, lookin’ GOOOOODDD!!!

Keep the pictures coming Mike! [tup] As for the seams what are you using for putty? It’s going to be expensive using cartons of squadron green for that big beast.

Loosk good. Couldntolook for the seams since I was could nto get passed the fact there 2x4s supporting this thing.[:O]

Tell me about it. That tube right now? It’s my second one. And I haven’t even started the wings yet! [banghead]
