Sad but true

I know my son gets excited when he gets models. He’s built a few, and this summer we tackled Revell’s 1/72 Blue Angels F-18 Snap-Tite. Pretty good for a 7 year old. I also have a small class of kids building models at school, and they seem like they’re pretty into it, maybe for the novelty if nothing else. But a lot of kids do crave that instant gratification.
Darn kids and their Rock-em-Sock-em robots !
At least those kid’s were using “Some” motor skills… ( the 5 seconds it took to put the head’s back in place .)
I must confess… I have spent many…MANY hours battling “Space Invaders”
Or the occasional rouge “Asteroid”…
Heck, yeah!! I remember that commercial. I was 11-years-old when that one came out.
