The artist oils that I read about for weathering. Are they water miscible oils or the type that clean-up with turpentine or mineral spirits?
Thank you in advance for any help.

Usually the ones you thin with spirits. Winston and newton is a good brand.

You want the pure oils, and thin with turpenoid. Try and buy the professional grade tubes, they are more spendy but the pigments are finer, and are much more suited to modeling. Or, MIg makes a great line of oil paints, check them out at Sprue brothers.
I will check out the Mig oils.
Thanks
