So, here’s what I’ve got in store for me with this Italeri kit. SOFT HDPE plastic, so gotta figure out how to glue it, that’s gonna be an issue. I’ve read about roughing up the surfaces to be glued and use 2 part epoxy, so, I’ll give that a try. Anyway, the kit comes with 10 figures, but, they are just 5 figures x 2 each, so, I’m not going to use the second set. There will be only 1 officer and 2 men per gun. Not true, but, the other guys will be just ‘off set’ at the exact moment of my dio. Here’s some dry fitting to see what I’m in for and the TON of clean up needed on the mold lines on almost every single piece:
This 6" howitzer barrel is in two pieces…gonna be tough to glue together. Dunno why they use this plastic for model kits!!!
