Artillary GB

Johnforster: looks very good ¡¡

the camo as you did id, where is located historicly?

panzer67: the camo is called AusCam, it’s the camo of the Australian Army. That’s where this gun is set.
Cheers,
John

Man, that 198, now that is a gun.
The Aussie camo looks good too. Its odd when you look at a US 198, then see a Ausie 198 or LAVs for that matter. The colors used are strark to each other.

Yes, that’s right. However, take a look at the difference in the camo on their uniforms!

US Army DPU -
Australian Army DPCU -

You can see that the AusCam blends into a much lighter shade than the US Army camo. I guess this is because the US (and Britain and even New Zealand) are in a much more temperate climate than Australia.
Thanks for the comments! [tup] The gun is about to go into weathering, but I’m working on my Stealth a/c GB build atm.
Cheers,
John

Put me down for (eeeuuuuwwwww, I can’t believe I’m saying this [yuck]) the old Tamiya British 25 lb gun. [banghead][banghead][banghead][banghead][banghead] Chuck

Haven’t started anything yet. I will be changing my entry however to the M-110 A2 or the MLRS, not sure which one yet.
