I have a ProModeler P-47N right near the front door of my house (it’s one of the first things you see when you come inside). This morning, on my way out of the house, I noticed something odd about the canopy. I took a closer look and realized the canopy was on backwards, and the windscreen was gone. The pitot tube was bent upwards, as well, which is no big deal. But missing the windscreen is big deal. Does Revellogram have parts for their ProMod kits, or am I out of luck?
Think I’m gonna go cry now.
Try the revell monogram web site http://www.revell.com/Parts_Decals.12.0.html
the say they’ll repace up to ten parts.
Okay, I’ll give that a shot. Thanks a lot!
Bob
Since the kit has been out of production for 10 years, they probably aren’t going to have the part. You might be able to make the part from a Monogram P-47D kit work.
You can try the Part’s Yard
It’s hit or miss, but I have been able to complete a few kits through there.

Yeah, I was wondering if that would be available at such a late date. I think I bought the plane in '97 or '98, but can’t really remember for sure.
The good news is, I found the windscreen hidden on a small table near the bookshelf where the plane sits. The bad news is, the cockpit is broken loose inside the fuselage. And of course, nobody is owning up to any of it. I’d be furious, if this didn’t make me sad because of all the work that went into it. Oh well. [censored]
Edit: The seat and port cockpit wall broke free from the rest of the cockpit. This is gonna be a royal pain to fix: I either try to reopen the fuselage to fix and reinstall the cockpit, or else attempt a ship-in-a-bottle repair to the office without damaging the paint.
