frostygirl,
BTW I have the Airfix Sherman as well. I have never built it. Like you I couldnt bring myself to. I am going to build their Tiger I though for the Tiger Family build. Figure why not. Might even have it done in one day!
Okay my M3 is itching to be built and I’ll bring a sherman home soon…
hey all… as stated, i accidently started a bit early. this is where i stopped, bogies assembled (pain in the butt) and attached to the lower hull… will pick it up from here tomorrow…

OOOOOOOOOO WAY TO GO TANKERGEOFF!!!
Hee hee
Had to give you a hard time!
tsk tsk tankergeoff… ahh whats one day… lookin good so far
thanks guys… as you notice the roadwheels are mixed up. In the field, as the crews were resupplied, they got what they got and it was very common to see some of the veteran vehicles with mix-matched wheels…
ohh I was curious about those roadwheels… just started on my Lee no pics though
Well here is my progress so far. Frsotygirl was correct…part 19 doesnt fit. I am working on puttying it now. I just took a break to post some photos. Except for part 19, it has been an easy build.

O I forgot to add that I did not paint the engine due to it being closed up. Call me lazy but I didnt see a point.
lazy…
looking good jeff!
Thanks Tankergeoff!! You donkey!!!
Alright I am finished!! The Sherman is off at the paint shop. I should have some more photos by the end of the day. I just put the primer coat on. Next will be the OD and then to the tracks.
lookin good smokinprice the Lee has been delayed by themarder III
ddayomaha thanks. Nothing wrong with being delayed!! I love the Marder III. I am currently building a 234/1. So when I dont work on it, I have been working on the Sherman.
To all,
Here is tonight’s progress. I still have a lot of detail work to do but everything is on minus the fenders and tracks. They should be done tomorrow. I did test fit the tracks and of course they are a wee bit short. Dont know what I am going to do yet. Well here it is.

Hope everyone is doing great!
I should mention that a few small pieces either broke or flew off into never never land. Mainly two head lights. Oh well.
Ahh how the 21st century modeler has been plagued by sprue flinging
Well here is my progress thus far. The tracks are on, a little bit of weatehring ahs been done and just needs a tad more weathering to be completed. Hopefully you can see the weathering around the hatches and turret.

wish to be in with the Tamiya M3 Lee MK I same chasis than sherman but poorest performance than sherman
Sure Panzer I’ll add you to the list
Lookin good smokinprice
Thanks ddayomaha
