Hmmmmm sounds like you drive like I do…funny how last time I was up that way I was doing 93MPH and was still getting passed on both my right and left!
Yep, that was me…on the left and the right. [:p] [;)] [:D]
Eric
So you were the one that caused that traffic jam, and to think my boss did’nt believe me when I said was late cause some one was on 285 in a Sherman.[;)]
I shudder when I think of 285…or Georgia 400, for that matter…
At least all you have to do is think about 400 Brian. I live 2 miles from the end of it and have to drive it everyday, if I make it through the 17 miles of vehichles playing frogger across it I then get to sit in the 17 miles of traffic just to get to 285.
True. That’s one thing I certainly don’t miss about Georgia!
I had to move to the other side of the world to escape the horror!
That was a great picture Robert. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Try 94 in Chcago.
I have driven on a lot of roads, through a lot of cities and towns. The worst has to be I-10 through Houston. Bumper to bumper traffic traveling at 85 MPH. Cars, trucks, SUV’s and motorcycles weaving from lane to lane, without giving a signal. I hit it at rush hour and by the time I got through Houston, I found a motel with a bar. I needed something to calm me down.[:O][:O][:O][:O]
I think I can handle that better than 4 or 5 hours a day of moving 10 feet and stopping. Used to hate it when I had a stick shift in my work truck, wore out before I even got to work. I think here in Atlanta that blinkers must be an expensive option on most cars that nobody pays for, and the ones that do have them don’t use it for permission to get in front of you , it’s to let you know that they have after the fact.
I have heard that in Alabama, vehicles will be sold without turn signals installed. They don’t know how to use then anyway. [%-)] Also the headlight dimmer switch is being placed back on the floor because so many drivers are getting their foot tangled up in the steering wheel. [(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D]
Yeah that is a pretty nasty stretch of 1-10…SO wheres this motel with the bar! LOL for next time Im on that stretch! ROFL…
Washington DC/Alexandria are no walks in the park either…especially not come the first snow of the season!
