Can anyone tell me if they know the paint codes on these kits? The bloody text is all in Japanese so I have no clue what the paint numbers mean. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Dmk. I’m working on the P-47 Razorback. No problems with the body of the plane. Going to do the bare metal silver as discussed in another plane. The aircraft is Penrod and Sam and that was the color. Mainly concerned with the smaller parts and how they are supposed to be painted. Bombs, pilots seat, etc. Thanks.

Well modeling US WWII aircraft is pretty much easy, the interiors are pretty much FS 34151 Interior Green, but if you want to get really correct go to IPMS Stockholms website ( http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2004/01/stuff_eng_interior_colours_us.htm ) and they go over all the interiors of the USAAF & USN&MC aircraft, to get more correct on the P-47D-15’s (Arii/Otaki P-47D Razorback): the wheel wells are Zinc Chromate Yellow, Engine Compartment is Silver, Landing Gear Struts & Wheels are Aluminum, Engine is the following: Crankcase FS 36076 Engine Gray, Cylinders FS 38037 Ft Black, Heads Aluminum, Magnetios FS 30117 Military Brown, all other details on engine are Ft Black

On the interior of the P47 , the paint was slightly different .
You can go with Testers MM Euro 1 Dark Green.
