arggh need help from you puter wizards

ok i got the m247 sgt york all finshed and pics down loaded on the puter but haveing trouble in getting them uploaded to rons site and to here any of you guys can give a puter dummy a hand .

if you can email them to me I’ll post them for you, I have DSL and I can usually upload 10 in just a min. or so?

First go to Ron’s gallery (http://rongeorge.com/modules/Gallery/albums.php) and login with:
User: newfsm
pword: models

Go to the “Upload here” album.

Then click on “admin tools” near the top right and select “add photos”. you will get an upload page where you can browse your hard drive for the image(s) you want.

Once they are uploaded find them in the gallery and click on the thumbnail. When the pic displays RIGHT click on it and select “properties”. A dialogue box will display with the URL for the pic listed, simply copy and paste this into your message between the image tags.
It should look something like this minus the spaces in the image tags…

[img ]http://rongeorge.com/albums/armor/IMGP0094.jpg[/img ]

remove the spaces and this is what you see.

hi,am need of help here too,i have a cable modem ,how do i go about dl some of my pics to a site here? do i have to make a web site ? i am NOT pc smart,too much glue over the yrs i think,am teasing ,thks for any help

Nope … waht you need to do is upload your pics to a “host” site. Ron USMC has one and you can find it on the first page of General Modeling Discussion. After you pic is uploaded, then you can hyperlink to this site to show your pics. Check out the thread “How to post pics”. If you’re still having problems after that, one of us will give you a hand from there.

I was going to post some pictures for the first time. I had borrowed a Digital camera from work. I took the pictures and down loaded the pictures and saved them to a floppy disk. I got home today and found that the floppy is bad and I won’t be back at work until Monday. Boy that sucks.
