Are you interested in buying 1/1 scale ww2 vehicles?

I rebuilt a (post WWII) M38 jeep. Detail parts are a LOT more expensive, but weathering is easier, just drive it thru a mud hole (tho some folks will tell you it doesn’t look realistic).

Kinda along the same lines is www.govliquidation.com. It’s random stuff that the US government wants to get rid of. Mostly junk but a few good finds, like a deuce-and-a-half tow truck or dump truck.

Good find kaleu!

I don’t think insurance would be bad at all, after all, i think that a Panther can hold it’s own on the freeway [;)] School would definately be interesting pulling up in one of those… i can see it now, school security comes up, i’m just like “what do you mean i’m taking up 2 spaces!? You got a problem with it!?” or “a C, you gave me a C on my test… well, i think i can get you to change your mind…” lol… good times… good times

lol yup
I wish I had enough money to buy a Panther
Plus if you had enough money, you could drive it around and just pay the tickets, but still drive it around
Anyone know what the max speed is on a Panther?

According to Jentz and Doyle, a Panther D’s max speed was 55 kph. It usually averaged 30-35 kph on road and 20 off road. The G and A models had slighly slower on and off road speeds.

No thanks, not for me. I used to own a Porsche 944 some years ago. The maintenance and repair costs absolutely broke me. I now admire German made vehicles only in 1/35 scale.

i wold also love to have a tank for driving on the icy roads up hear in vermont
