Hey y’all! I’m a lucky guy! I’m about 20 minutes away from the convention center where the IPMS nationals are gonna be this year!! I will definitely be there every day. Plan on being there. I have family to stay with, although about 30 miles from the Center… I don’t enter competitions, so I won’t bring any models, but plan on bringing a few kits home [:)]

I just booked a room at the Holiday i\Inn less than a mile from the centre. Ill be flying in from Toronto on thur night. Look for the models in my signature and If posible Im bringing my F3h Demon. See ya there EH!
Guys, I have to ask, I am in DESPERATE staraits- HOW THE BLOODY H*LL DO YOU PACK MODELS AND TAKE THEM WITH YOU AND HAVE THEM ARRIVE SAFELY IN ATLANTA? OK sorry for the outburst. But I can’t figure out how to pack my models safely and fly them from NY to atlanta. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Tank, I use what resembles a file box, with 2 levels that I made out of cardboard. I dont think its a good idea to use any containers made of metal becouse if you get on an airline, their going to want to scan it. If its in metal, theyll make you take it all apart. Make their job simple and just let them scan a cardboard box. I used soft rubber foam to stop the models from sliding on all three axis. I live in Toronto and Ive driven as far as Pennsilvainia, A ten hour drive on thouse highways is like an eternity in hell and the models made it without any problems. Ohya Im flying there so ill be carring the box on my lap or in the overhead if it will fit. Hope this helps. Trevor M
