Are any of these polystyrene glues?

hello,

Im building a dio that calls for polystyrene glue.
are any of thes polystyrene glue? If not, what is?

thanks!

they are all styrene cements.

Throw the tube away. There are better options for the liquid cement, though. Tenax or Weld-On.

Plastruct makes a plastic solvent that I don’t recommend. It seems really thick like the testors liquid.

They are all suitable for polystyrene, although the Modelmaster Liquid Cement would be the one I’d prefer of the three shown.

Regards, Rick

I agree 100% with Rick… the Model Master beats the other 2…

definitely. If those are the options, go with the model master

yep, the MM is the one I recenty bought and now love, never used the blue one, got it for free.
I am trying to build icicles and it say the i am supposed to touch the cement to a board and pull it down and it should leave and icicle shape. but it keeps retracting up so that it makes a little blob not a pointy icicle. Is there a glu really cruddy that would not go up?

it probably hard to understad what i am saying, sorry.

I think I would try to make icicles by stretching clear sprue.

I’m just curious as to why the MM is better than the testors one? They’re the same company, and I would have assumed they probably use the same glue.

Rebel, as with the posts above, they’re all applicable. BTW, you may wish to try some of the Tamiya glues. THeir regular is quite good, and one I’ve been using exclusively since trying it.

well, I have enough glue to lat a while!
I prefer the MM one because it has a noclogging tip and it has a precision applicatior, no more using toothpics.

Woody, that good Idea, I’ll try it! thanks
