ARC forum not accessible

I have not been able to logon to the ARC forum for over a week. The main page appears to be active. Nobody knows what is going on?

When I clicked on the Forum tab at the main page, I got this error message:

There appears to be an error with the database.

If you are seeing this page, it means there was a problem communicating with our database. Sometimes this error is temporary and will go away when you refresh the page. Sometimes the error will need to be fixed by an administrator before the site will become accessible again.

Server crashed a couple weeks ago, still being moved to a new one.

If you go to the ARC main page they explain what happened.

No big loss anyways… not a very friendly place…

Yes and no, still has a wealth of knowledge and a pretty active buy/sell section where some good deals can be found. Which is something this forum lacks…

True… I understand the reason behind FSMs policy, even if I do not happen to agree. A forum for that free of liability to FSM would be a welcome addition.

I like ARC despite some bad apples. Every forum has them so it’s just part of the atmosphere we have to deal with. I had a decal deal going but was only talking via PM when it went down so I never was able to email them yet. Hopefully the data will be restored so I can finish it.

I wonder if it would be allowed to post a link to a model trading forum I made? I did it a while back for the local community here but didn’t take off. I never deleted it. It could be an unofficial FSM trade/sell forum. [;)]

lots of good info but some of the users aren’t so friendly. lots of rivet counters on there. I been on zone-five a lot actually.
