…Anyone tried the Testors Mighty Mini air brush with compressor on their model aircraft? and if you have what did you think of it?
…
Testors Mighty Mini set includes an external mix, single action airbrush, compact compressor, 12cc top feed cup, ¼ oz. Siphon cap & bottle and six colors of pre-thinned, ready to airbrush acrylic paint. $70 on the Testor Site. Possibly cheaper on other sites?
Bill.
I hooked the compressor up to my badger 200 airbrush, seems to work 100% better than trying to run off of canned air, not a bad value at the price. the airbrush itself it crap though, junk it or give to a little kid and get a better brush. The compressor kicks A$$ for such a low price.

[:)] I got one for Christmas and have used it constantly. I had a Badger and used canned air, too–I’ve been most impressed with the Mini!
are you guys talking about the blue ice mini? I use that and it’s not a bad compressor.
Just don’t use it with a Paasche airbrush and you should be fine. I made that mistake and had to return the compressor and get a bigger one.
Just bought this today at Walmart for $49.97-The compressor is quite loud but it works well with my Aztek airbrushes sure beats compressed air cans! (Or my old
spare tire hookup from years ago!') -Have to see about moisture problems, too.[:D]
I got a Value Pack with Aztek Dual-action airbrush, cleaning station, and the Blue Mini comp. My hobby shop suggested to me to buy Testors moisture trap(It include a pressure regulator) . So I never encounter problem. Except for the noise (I usually builds between midnight and 3AM. So now all my paint jobs has to be done on weekends!!!) I am working on evening shifts[banghead] But if you are airbrushing in normal hour, the noise level is correct (Don’t need earplugs)
