Anyone know of a source for 'Part' photoetch sets?

I’ve been trying to find a source online that carries “Part” (company name) photoetch sets, or specifically, their sets for the Trumpeter 1/32 Curtiss p-40b Tomahawk. So far, all that I’ve found is a store based in the UK that says shipping to North America can take 2 months.

Thanks, Ian

What do you know? I search for two days with no luck, and five minutes after making a post looking for help, I managed to stumble across Roll Models, who carries all three sets. A little pricey at $30 a set, though. Is there any way to delete a thread, since I answered my own question? Thanks.

You can try from them or try http://www.airconnection.on.ca/ I believe they are the North American Importer of Part and Aber.

Try eduard http://www.eduard.cz/products/card.php?id_product=4820&name=&catalogue_nb=&type=130&pgroup=1&scale=5&product_month=&product_year=&page_start=45

I’d try to make sure (email, phone etc) Roll Models has the item you want first. My only order with them was largely unfilled because they listed stuff that they apparently could no longer get.

I just recieved an order from ROLL M. all Eduard stuff. All was delivered but took 3 weeks. Thats the only prob I have with them…Harv

You can get Part PE from Poland http://www.jadar.com.pl/

Never had any problems ordering from them or anything being out of stock.

Aeroclub are the UK agents for Part but you might have to wait fro them to get them Poland if they don’t have what you want.

Thanks for all the help. The “Big Ed” set from eduard seems like a great deal at $45 for 3 full PE sets and a set of masks, compared to $30 per set at roll models.

You can also ask directly:

www.part.pl

Another great option. I was having trouble Finding “Part PE” because I would just get a lot of links to pages that said something like “This PE set contains 73 parts” Thanks again for the help, guys.

And since the Company “Part” is located in my town, let me know, what do you need - I will ask them - I can’t promise but maybe it will work faster

HobbyEasy in Hong kong has quite a number in their inventory. They’re a good store. I’ve bought stuff from them.
