Anyone has information about this cannon?

So I happen to be in a group who restores one of the best kept coastal forts and several things… And we happen to have the only cannon left in the entire world of the Belgian K370b 120mm cannon, as all the other went to be scrapped.

So do anyone have any further information about this type of cannons? End the ultimate… Anyone knows of a kit of this cannon?

Any help whatsoever will help alot!

Thanks in advance so much!

Huxy, was this a WWI coastal fort? And could the cannon possibly be from WWI?

The fort is one of the more modern ones from WWII. Built in 1943. It had 4 of these cannons.

The history I’ve heard of these cannons is that the Germans took these cannons from Belgium and used them alot in many places. Then again very often as coastal defense cannons…

When the cannon itself was made, I have no idea…

OK…redleg has you covered. With a little research…

ooo Thanks alot, Redleg !! [bow]

But that cannon on that picture, sure it’s still around to this date? The picture seems somewhat old… And only 24 built… nice

That cannon has wheelhubs… our doesen’t! and the wheels seems different… I try to get a photo of ours next time I am there… Seems like that cannon has some other details as well…

Ai! Here’s a picture from our website…

The caption of the picture says that the cannon is from WWI… could it be another version?

Thanks!

First let me admit a minor error, the museum is in the Belgium not France.

Here is their web site

The picture caption states it is a K370. You may want to contact them directly.
