Anyone has a spare Su-27UB canopy in 1/72?

I’m building a Su-30, I’m converting it from a Su-37 kit:

So I don’t have a canopy for this plane, and couldn’t find one out there. As the Su-30 is based on the Su-27UB, I think the Su-27UB canopy will work for this. If anyone has a spare Su-27UB canopy, injected clear styrene or preferably vacuformed canopy (I think most sets include two pieces), please let me know. I’d need the canopy first for making it fit to my fuselage or modifying the fuselage for fitting the canopy. For now, fuselage re-shaping on hold. Best regards.

José.

Zero Enna,

A vacuum former is easier to make than most people realize. I made one out of a couple spare music CD’s and a Tupperware container. Then all you need is a vacuum (suction) and heat. Ill post pictures for you:

The base is taped to the top of the Tupperware lid. Holes allow for the suction to ‘pull’ the heated plastic down. The top has holes as well, the clear plastic is from clear vacuum formed packaging. It has been CA glued to the top, it ‘fogs’ now but the process makes it clear.

The vacuum hose is wedged between the stove & counter. Heat the upper until its almost unbearable or the edges sag. Hold above the bottom and press down quickly, the vacuum will ‘suck’ it together.

A good run will have the part being produced ‘stuck’ inside, remember to elevate the object (1/32 scale P-51 canopy) at least 1/4" so the plastic ‘pulls’ around the bottom of it.
