Anyone for 1/6 scale Armor?

Would love to order a few (we can all dream I guess)

where on earth would you keep such a monster when you had built it??
i think part of the reason i build 1:35th is the space iv’e got to keep them in after they are finished…but a 1:6th scale tiger in my living room??? hmmmmm.

I won the Tamiya Tiger I and I haven’t gotten around to building it yet because of that very reason. No place to keep it once it’s completed.

well you could add padding to the top and make an ottoman…or ad wie and a pipe to make a lamp…lol

Well, my wife wanted me to fix up the backyard, add a pond, plants, bushes and such…I can’t think of anything better than to protect it with, than a nice 1/6 scale King Tiger (now how can I convince her???)

you could put a nice motor in something that big, probably even two, a big one for the main drive, a little one for the turret! (put some squibs or caps in there, a little wiring, and voila, you’ve got yourself a doorbell! might blow your tank apart, but hey it’d be pretty impressive![:p][;)]

Actually, I think these big kits are designed to be motorized, and even are supplied with motors for both driving and turret traverse. I would imagine that the Tamiya kits with all their high-tech doodads are the ultimate in realism though. And frankly, someone with a 1/15th scale Tamiya Pershing (that’s the one I’d really love) is a little eccentric, a true enthusiast. Someone with a 1/6th scale Maus has issues. Unless you put it to practical use, of course, like driving it down to the supermarket to get the groceries. [:p]

you could try to make a go cart out of it, that’d be interesting?
mailman comes up the driveway and from out of no where you come clacking around the corner of the garage to get the mail, it could happen?

Well, they would be ideal for home defense…[:p]

According to the option list they can fire 9mm blanks,
they drive, the turret traverses, and the gun elevates.

As for home defense i’ll stick with the Mossberg 590.

OMG,When will the hobby go to1/1 scale?
Did you see the JS-2 ?
Now I gotta’ talk the wife out 10,000 from our retirement and I’ll be set.

i love the big scale stuff ! i have my den devoted to storing them on metal shelves!

i recently aquired a jagd tiger in 1/6 ,it’s huge . i dont know where im going to put it just yet

Wholy crap panzerwerk[:0] That must have cost a small fortune!

if they go to 1/1 (LOL) it will be cheaper to scratchbuild. everyone has scrap plywood lying around. and no panzerwerk probably didn’t spend a SMALL fortune, probably a LARGE one!!! (LOL)

I don’t mind how big they get as long as they don’t come out with 2/1 (LOL LOL)

i do alot of trading to expand my collection , i dont have alot of money .
i just sold a panzer III aufs N so i can afford to make a 1/6 panther aufs G

here’s a couple pics of my latest piece , it a opel mualtier in 1/6 , it is a garage resin kit , and is pretty good for the money , im working on new tracks , and still have some detail work to do .

I already posted this site.

they are great
ive got some dragon figures and my missus calls them Dolls[banghead]

My hobby shop had a flier from one of their distributors the other week…pre-order for around $800 I thnk it was. I don’t know (think) if that included any motors, r/c gear. I’d be surprised.

Nice to dream about but I’m not parking my car outside!!! [:D]
