I just picked one up, and I’m exploring the aftermarket options…any input is appreciated, as I understand there’s some problems with the kit.
But still, it’ll go nicely with my Ferrari 642 and FW-124B from Tamiya…

Same here, Jeff. I have been looking around like mad and could thusfar find nothing. There are some aftermarket decals by both S27 and MC to add tobacco decals, without which the car looks absolutely stupid.
The one piece of good-ish news is that SMS are talking about producing a detail set. It seems (I speak under correction) the wheels and turned parts will be sold seperately. There were talk of a PE set as well.
So I’m still waiting and building other stuff!

The wheel assembly parts are made up of 26 separate turned aluminum pieces, no cast metal or resin here! The wheel set includes threaded hub shafts, matching wheel nuts, a fabulous spider center piece and tire valve stems. One other important feature of our 1/12th scale wheel package is that it is designed to work with all the 1/12th scale MG Ferrari resin kits! The turned metal package also includes 22 steering wheel details and three separate aerials. To round out the Revell F2002 detail kit will be a photoetch set to include harness hardware and many other goodies never before available in 1/12th scale.
