I’m considering a couple of their kits (when I win the lottery or convince my wife that we need higher monthly personal allowances [:D]), specifically some of their Land Rover kits or their Oshkosh M1070 kit. Has anyone built any of their kits before? I know their resin and other multi-media, which I have precious little experience with. Feedback from anyone who’s worked with these kits is most appreciated. Thanks!
I was hoping you’d let us know, once you get one of their kits. I’d love to get my hands on the HET, but I don’t think I can give up a kidney just to pay for it.
Are kidneys going for that much these days? I only got $300 for my last one. J/K [:D] Yeah, they’re very spendy…the full M1070 (with trailer) kit is £246.77, which today is about $474.56. With shipping it actually comes closer to $522.64. Ouch! That’s my entire model budget for the better part of 9+ months!
I just want someone to tell me that my kidney, er, $500, would be worth it to build one of these kits. The Land Rovers are much less, and I’d probably start there to see if I hated multimedia or loved it. If only someone would build a styrene kit of the M1070, I’d be happy. Oh well. sigh
ive built about five of accurate amours kits now, and just started the foden recovery truck. they can be a proper pain in the arse when you first start building them, but it gets easier with practice. the instruction sheets can be like a physics essay, but dont let that put you off, they are exceptional quality.
Imagine this, you buy one and then make errors in either buildin’ or paintin’ it! That would be enough to make you have a breakdown! [:D]
