title line says it all…in particular the f-86 f-30. It looks like a very cool project with a lot of detail. I’m going to try to branch out to NMF and I figured some sort of cold war project was the way to go… I just finished reading Code to Zero by Ken Follett and this has inspired me…like a lot of WWII books by Ken Follett do with other WWII projects. Thanks in advance
I’ve built one of the Academy kits & a couple of the Hasegawa. They are both very nice kits with no major vices. I prefer the Hasegawa kit, but the Academy is probably a better buy for the price difference. Enjoy the build & post some pics when you can.
Regards, Rick
I got mine for £6 GBPs delivered off Evil-Bay, so mine was an absolute bargain! It’s still in the box though, but from looking at it, it’ll make a good OOB kit, as the level of detail really is rather good. It’s my first look at an Academy kit, and I was impressed.
Good luck with the build.
I like the Academy kit. Fit is great and the cost was very good as well. I have the Hasegawa kit as well but I haven’t started it yet.
the kit has a lot of detail and it comes with some extra ordinace but the fit is great and detail is good
I have done both and Rick said it all. I just wished someone would come out with a slatted wing for the E (the cutting edge conversion scares me!)
