Just bought a PE set for my 1/72 Catalina and have been wondering ever since how to bend the gun barrels included in the set! Any tips would be greatly appreciated! I am fairly new to PE and, while I have managed to get the 90 degree angles to come out pretty good, I am at a loss on what to do about those little barrels…
First anneal the PE, then roll it around a micro-drill bit or a piece of wire slightly smaller than the diameter of the gun barrel you are trying to roll.
Hi ! As I recommended to someone else I would just replace the gun barrels with brass tubing .It,s easier on the nerves and looks good too! tankerbuilder
