ANY reference on A-34 Comet interior? Simlilar to cromwell?

Well, I’m working on the 1/35 Bronco comet, and wanted to add a VERY basic interior to the turret. It includes a fully detailed breach and my Voyager PE update has resin hatches with the padded interior sides. So I would just be looking to put some basic blocky details in, to give an illusion of some interior, since the hatches are pretty small anyways. However, I can’t find hardly any reference shots or books that include interior pictures/drawings. I found one at Toadman’s tank pics, where you buy the whole walkaround CD for like 8 dollars, but for the amount of scratchuiblding I plan to do, I’d rather just find a couple free pictures. Last, how similar is it to other British ww2 tanks, such as the Cromwell and Cenatuar, which had the same lower hull and were fairly similar? Since my interior would be VERY basic it doesn’t have to be perfectly accurate. Thanks, Ian.

Go to www.toadmanstankpictures.com and order their CD on the A34 Comet. Interior shots are provided

That’s because very little has been written about the Comet to begin with and many museums don’t let people climb on their vehicles to take interior photos. I had quite a time tracking down information so I could correctly caption the photos on my CD but I was lucky enough to make the right contacts who could help me out.

Sometime next year, there’ll be a book out on the Comet that I’m doing many of the photos for. Until then, try this link: http://svsm.org/gallery/Comet for some “free” interior photos. You can also try and track down a copy of AFV Modeller #31 which has a Comet photo essay that I did.

Thanks Toadman, your CD’s look great, and I’m sure I’ll break down and get one for a larger sratchbuild project, but for this I’m just aiming to throw p a shelf, a radio some seats and a floor to give a quick hint of detail. Thanks for those shots, they were perfect.
