MH 1521 Broussard?
If this is the French twin-prop airliner you speak of, then Heller released a 1/72 (?) kit in the early '70s. I don’t recall that was ever re-released by them.

The twin was a descendant of the MH 1521, which was a single engine twin tail utility airplane designed by Max Holste. I think I’ve seen one at a fly-in here in California. The Nord 262 was the last step after the Super Broussard.
I think the easiest way to build the MH-1521 is to get a Hobbycraft Beaver and start chopping. But then, there is undoubtedly a vacform done by somebody somewhere and somewhen.
John, your idea is sound except that by my ## the mh 1521 is a baby Beaver, 20% less in every dimension. I researched the Pratt 985 and thats interesting too because it was most common on twins. Oh, and the Staggerwing. Then I looked at the Bellanca singles. I have found that in researching a/c by dates, performance of course, use in particular, cross referencing by engine type is very fruitful. And of course Pratt and Wright were very similar.
That is an aircraft manufacturer I seldom think about, big whoopee except I do like aircraft. What do you think of re: Bellanca? Red? sure, its Italian. Big windscreen, diavolo!!
I’d say this a/c is pretty similar to the Bellanca CH-200. Now, find the kit.
Yea, I was talking about the Max Holste 1521, the single engine radial utility taildragger…So what do you all think is the best kit and/or aftermarket accesories to make it? Or is it even possible?
Bill, the Beaver would be bigger. If I were to attack this one I would think it would be easiest to build up the fuselage out of plastic sheet since it is such a boxy shape. Every time I try to modify something it seems like I reach a point where I realize it would have been easier to start with a blank slate. The first thing is to find or develop good drawings. Might be difficult, so far as I know the French Army was the user.
FYI
there is a Heller Super Brousard on ebay.co.uk item no: 160157335526

I did a quick search on google, there might be some resin kits:

Seems Model Art does a full multi media kit of it in 1/72. If you scroll half way down this page, you’ll see some information about it:

There is also this 1/48 resin one by Miku:

Hope that helps
