Any Good Model Shops in the Kansas City Area?

I’m headed to KC for the weekend. I haven’t lived there for many years. Anyone know of any good model shops in the area? Thanks.

Google it prior to arriving in Kansas City. I always google any LHS whenever I go away on vacation. I found a fantastic LHS in Groton, CT area one year.

I lived in Leavenworth back in 00-03…there wasn’t anything special in the KC area back then (that I recall)…does not mean there isn’t now. I had to order from Squadrons catalogue (before I had internet)…until I happened into a Hobby Lobby (back when selection was decent). I do remember a decent shop out in Lawrence. I couldn’t tell you the name of it, but I do not believe it was a chain shop though…just a “one off” mom-n-pop type shop.

KC has hosted an IPMS national convention a few years back.
