Hi guys, this is my first post over here, and I was wondering, do any of you know where I can find some reference on German paint schemes in the Normandy hedgerows?? and if possible, let it be a website or something like that, I’m 12 and broke…

Villers bocage?

Have a search at Panzer Lehr division and 1.SS division and 2.SS division, Normandy… I’ll have a look in a map I have for more armoured divisions stationed all around Normandie… [;)]

Ok…

Some SHAEF maps (I don’t know exactly what that is) reproductions I have here (A high quality photocopy made in cooperation with the Imperial War Muesum) shows German position during the battle of St. Lõ the 30th June.

Just south of Carentan we have the 17.SS PG. Further North-East we have the 2nd Panzer just south of Balleroy. Just next to them, we have the Panzer Lehr, 2.SS Panzer and 9.SS Panzer, located just below Tilly. Then we have the 1.SS Panzer located just below Caen, and the 12.SS Panzer and the 21st Panzer in and around Caen.

“SHAEF”? If that’s what you are referring to, its Supreme Headquarters, Allied Expeditionary Forces.
