I’d really enjoy seeing anyone’s finished model of a B-47. That’s a favorite plane of mine and a few years back I built the 1/72 version. I’m not happy with it, and would like some inspiration for what a really good build would look like. Thanks.
Not mine but I shot this at the Nats last year.
and also have some pics of the real mccoy on display at Pima.
more pics here.

Check out Lee Kolasna’s Hasegawa B-47 over at Modeling Madness. He put a ton of work into it becasue of fit problems. If you want to build another one, try Hobbycraft’s 1/144 B-47. Except for the lack of detail in the cockpit, it’s a really nice kit. The only problem I had with mine was I kept knocking the &%$%& inboard engines off while I was masking the undersides!

I have one in 1/72nd, but it is unbuilt though.
Wish I was in less of a hurry, but not everyone in my family appreciates aviation…
I have never built a kit of the B-47, but I have the Hasegawa one sitting on the shelf. Here are a couple of pics of the one at the Mighty Eighth Museum in Savannah Georgia.
