Any advice on the Accurate Miniatures Grumman Avenger?

Just picked up Kit 506, radar equipped for 20.00. Anyone built this? Any advice or things to look out for? Thanks Bill

Best advice is to check out the build tips on th AM web site. The instructions with the kit are a little lacking or downright confusing. There are a couple of tricky assembly sequences and the AM web tips help a lot.

Yes, it is a good kit. But BEWARE the decals in that particular issue. They will not tell you that at their website. Aftermarket sheets are scarce at this point. Don’t make the same error that I did. Get your replacement decals before you begin.
