This is news to me, but I’m sure others here have heard this.
Accurate Miniatures is planning on releasing 1/48 scale SB2C-1 and -4 Helldivers! Finallly an alternative to that toy of a Monogram Classics release and something to compare with the ProModeller release.

I still need to pick up the two Vindicators, now theres two more i have to add to my list! I see on Squadron.com the Helldivers are listed as Limited addition, anybody know if thats true? Also FYI the Vindicators are $10 off right now at Squadron.
After all that I spent tracking down the pro-modeler version! Well, I guess I’ll just have an extra Helldiver in my kit stash in the future!
Hope the wait isn’t as long as it was for the Vindicator-- but wait I will nonetheless!

Those are some really great kits that they are coming out with.
I’ve never built any of their kits before but from the reviews I’ve read, they make some really extraordinary kits. I notice they manufacture a lot WWII Naval aircraft stuff and after seeing the Helldiver I’m wondering if they’ll possibly put out Devastator.
NICE! Now if only they’d do a quality Devastator.

They have never released a Devestator. Think you have it confused with their Dauntless.

Well, I just bit the bullet and ordered both Vindicators and pre-ordered both Helldivers.
Looks like they have a few more P-51’s coming out to.

Squadron just listed them as pre-orders, but have them designated as “Limited Release”. Kind of curious about that, as I’ve never seen AM do limited releases, especially of a new kit. Possibly a rebox of the Promodeler kit ?

I really don’t know if this is all true, but I’m pretty sure my sourec was accurate:
This is a rebox of a Revell Monogram kit with extras. It does cost money to use the Revell Monogram moulds, so it probably won’t be in production long. I assume most of the Revell kit’s problems have been corrected, but AM wasn’t allowed to touch the revell tooling to make corrections, so anything new will be on a seperate sprue.
Also, the new P-51 release contains new wings with positionable flaps.
Thier project after that will be a car.
